A British gossip magazine came up with the term when Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Heidi Range were snapped relaxing on the beach during their summer holidays. And although they are three of music's most desirable women, the group said that jibe really hurt them. Fashion Clothing Heidi, who is a perfect size 10, said: "Our weight did become an issue for us after that holiday. "They showed photos of us on holiday and called us Sugalumps. That really bothered me at the time." Keisha added: "Weight should be a personal thing. "I do watch what I eat and am conscious of my figure but at the same time I do go and have KFCs and my boyfriend and I have devoured extra-large pizzas with the bread and Hot Wings on the side as well. "I do feel bad after, but that's because I know I'm probably going to break out in spots the next day. "But people shouldn't lose weight to extreme levels. Don't starve yourself and get in an issue over it because of what people say." The Sugababes' new single, Ugly, is out next Monday and the song offers the girls' frank views on people trying to undermine their confidence. They say the reason they are so self-assured now is because they are all madly in love. Heidi is going out with MTV presenter Dave Berry, Keisha is with a basketball player she refers to as Zayne, and Mutya's live-in partner and father of her daughter is simply known as Jay.
